Damaris lends her talents by performing secretarial work for the station.  She is a true and dedicated spirit.  When asked why she volunteers for the station she said:

 “What has led me to volunteer with Black Power 96.3 FM is my love for African people. The teachings of Chairman Omali Yeshitela are powerful and invaluable. I align myself with speaking and teaching the truth and to enlighten and empower the African communities of the world. Liberty through truth and light to African people! The good music and beautiful people are the reason why I volunteer at BP96!”
