This episode of the Reparations in Action FM radio show and podcast is a presentation by Penny Hess, Chair of the African People’s Solidarity Committee and author of Overturning the Culture of Violence.
It was recorded on June 12, 2021 at the first-ever conference of the Reparations Legacy Project, a campaign of the Uhuru Solidarity Movement working to win reparations from white individuals, corporations and businesses with access to wealth.
Penny Hess is the Chair of the African People’s Solidarity Committee, the organization of white people working under the leadership of the African People’s Socialist Party to build the movement for white reparations to African people.
Penny Hess joined the African People’s Solidarity Committee at its founding conference in 1976 and for the past 45 years has worked under the leadership of the African People’s Socialist Party and Chairman Omali Yeshitela to build white solidarity with black power.
